Just a small note if you make a new PCB, route out the spare pins on the tiny12. I am currently using these now as indication. The main processor talks to the tiny12 (now in slave mode after its done its power on) to use the spare pins as extra outputs.

Good call...I will be rolling out anothe version of the PCB in a month or two, and I will definitely route those lines out. I hadn't thought about using them, but there is no reason you couldn't.
