OV6620 sends Black image and no data on PORT Y

hello,

I am suddenly getting some different behavior from the chip , the Port Y of the module has turned to be dead , i am not able to receive any data on the port.

can any one tell what can be the problem.

Are you getting valid data on the UV port? Your post sounds like it is just happening on the Y port.

If its both ports, check your power supply. Are you powering it from a 9 volt battery? If so, try swapping it out with a fresh one (the issue can arise where there is enough juice to power the mega8, but not enough to get the camera to function properly, and thus you can get bad/corrupt/blank images sometimes).

yes my UV port is working fine but Y port doesnot send any thing it i give supply to it also.
