What is needed for a complete system?

Postby Dingo_aus » Mon Dec 04, 2006 4:19 am

I'm looking to get an AVR Cam on my bot.

What do I need to order to have everything working. More specifically, I see the pre-programmed ATTiny12 is out of stock, should I wait until it is back in stock before ordering?

Also does JRobot still sell appropriate download cables? I use AVRs all the time but use not quite STK500 compliant headers from a Thai company so I would want to order something I know would definitely work. Are they available?

Thanks,

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the Tiny12...it is in stock, though the web shop indicated otherwise. I've updated it now, as well as the other quantities. Yes, there is full stock on the AVRcam kits these days. The kit has everything you need: AVRcam kit, camera module, serial cable, and power cable. You can purchase an STK200/300 compatible programmer from the webshop (for another $15). This is the standard 2x5 pin header.

Post back if you have other questions.
