What format does Omnivison camera provide in 16 bit format

Hello,

I am getting an image from my camera that is coming totally red ( when i am reading the y port) if i am reading the vu port it is coming nothing but some colored lines.

can anyone tellme what is format omnivison camera gives when in 16 bit format.Is it YUYV.
I not able to understand the pdf provided what is the format for 16 bit format.

And if anybody has some idea why evryhting is coming red . If i keeping camera facing me it gives my images but evrhting is red.I am able to see my negative image. i have kept auto gain off and rgb also.
