I want te read RGB data from OV6620

hello,

I want to read RGB data from OV6620 camera. at present i am reading Y and UV when PCLK goes up and down.

First when pclk goes high i wait for pclk to go down at that instant when pclk goes down i read data from my Y and UV port.

How can i read the data in RGB format.

You can read RGB data from the OV6620 by first setting bit #4 in register 0x12 (for example, you can logically OR the value of this register with 0x08, and this will set the fourth bit). This bit defaults to a 0, which means that the data delivered over the data busses is in YUV format.

See pg. 26 of the OV6620 datasheet for more details.

Hi,

I have already configured the cameras 12 register by passing 0x08, but when i pass i only get some red image.

When i am not configuring it i am getting an image that is blured , black and white image.

I am not getting proper picture also in Y UV for mat.

I would like to send the image to you so that you can exactly tell me what is going wrong.

How can i send you image iff i can have your im adress i would like to send you my images so that ucan have better idea.
